“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!“
(Matthew 7:7-11 ESV)
“Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
(John 16:24 ESV)
God is good. God is my provider. He has promised to take care of me. And He does. Because I believe He will.
That is the main thing right there. Belief. Believe He will take care of you. Believe He will supply money for that bill or for extra gas because you had unexpected trips.
Believe God for healing. God is still in the healing business. If we believe He will heal us.
See where I’m going with this? If you believe it will happen, that is the first step in building faith in God.
Google defines belief as “accept something as true; feel sure of the truth of.” So if you accept something as true, then you believe it. So if it’s true, you believe it, then it must be right.
God told me He will take care of me, I believe it, so it must be true. Is it true? Yes! God is taking care of me. I just wish He would hurry up. But God has His own timing, and I have found you can not rush God’s timing. So don’t even try.
I hope you have a great day, and I believe you will because I trust God to take care of you.
