“Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
(Ephesians 5:2 ESV)
“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.”
(Colossians 3:14 ESV)
“Let all that you do be done in love.“
(1 Corinthians 16:14 ESV)
God wants us to experience incredible, life-changing love, mercy, and compassion not only from Him, but from those around us. And He wants us to show that love to others.
The call to love and help others in tangible ways, especially those weaker than ourselves. Do you find it easy to love others? Or do you struggle to even to like some people? I find it easy to love some people and hard to find any good in some people. But I am working on it. God wants us to love one another as He loves us. It shouldn’t be hard but some people make it hard.
Are there times when it’s easier to walk in love than other times? I think so. Just my opinion but when I am not feeling good my patience runs very thin. But when I’m feeling good I have easier time loving others. I know God understands but He probably doesn’t like it very much when my patience run thins. So I want to encourage you to examine your love walk and see if it needs works. Fix it if it needs fixed.
Have a blessed day.
