I used to be an EMT. For those who don’t know that stands for Emergency Medical Technician. I got to ride around in an ambulance and play with the lights and sirens. But the part I liked best was that I was helping people who were sick or injured.
We had some really strange calls. We also had funny calls. And we had some really sad ones. We had an elderly lady meet us at the end of her sidewalk with her suitcase in her hand at midnight. She just didn’t feel right. The calls I did not like were the ones with kids. Most of them couldn’t tell us what was wrong. But I still went. You might say I was dedicated. We were a volunteer service, we did not get paid to run calls. But I went anyway.
The world needs more volunteers. It needs a group of dedicated workers to spread the gospel. Will you volunteer? You don’t have to go overseas, but you can if you want to. All you have to do is tell everyone you see about Jesus. He is coming back soon and will take his children home. We need to make sure heaven is crowded.
Tell everyone about Jesus. Make God have to expand heaven so there’s plenty of room for everyone. Please don’t forget anyone. Tell everyone from the very young to the very old. Go to the nursing homes, tell them that Jesus is coming back. Get them saved. You never know how many people you can reach until you try. So get yourself ready to go save the world. The world needs volunteers like you and me.
