“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

(Jeremiah 33:3 ESV)

“Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

(Matthew 26:41 ESV)

I saw this on Facebook yesterday:

  • P-Praise for who He is, for what He has done. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
  • R-Repent of sins I have committed, of commands I have neglected. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
  • A-Ask for the needs of others, for my needs. Give us this day our daily bread. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
  • Y-Yield my will to God’s will, my agenda to God’s agenda for me. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. For thine is the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.”

There you go. The key to praying. Praise, repent, ask and yield. If that is too much, just talk to God like you do a friend. He will hear you. Prayers don’t have to be long or elaborate. Just a simple “God help me” and He will hear.

There have been times that I couldn’t pray any more than those 3 words. He heard me and came to my rescue.

So talk to God, tell Him the desires of your heart. He will hear you. Pray for others. We all can use extra prayers.

Have a great day.
