“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.” (2 Chronicles 20:17 KJV)
Dearly beloved and friends,God is assuring you today that He will fight for you, no matter the challenges and battles facing you.Hear God:
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.” (Isaiah 41:10-12 KJV).
Lessons:
- God commands, don’t be afraid,Fear not.
- He is completely with you.
- He has come to help you.
- Your enemies will be ashamed & confounded.
- Your enemies shall perish and as nothing.
- Victory belongs to you in Christ.
Examples:Of People God fought for:
- David and Israel (1 Samuel 17:45-46).
- Daniel (Daniel 6:20-24).
- Gideon and his people (Judges 8:28).
- Jehoshaphat and Judah (2 Chronicles 20)
- YOU: Who are they that are fighting against you today?God is taking over (Exodus 14:14)
What to do :
- Resist the devil and he will flee (James 4:7).
- Stand your ground (2 Corinthians 2:11).
- Walk daily in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).
- Firmly Maintain your peculiarity (1 Peter 2:9).
- Praise and Worship the Lord (Psalm 34:1-3).
Prayer Points:In Jesus name.
- Father, thank You for fighting my battles.
- Father, I surrender the “struggles” to You.
- Father, completely remove every siege around us and shame the enemy.
- Father as You lead in battle, let songs of praise never depart from my lips.
