“The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.” (John 5:7 KJV).
Dearly beloved and friends,you are not alone and will never be.There is this inner fear once in a while,that makes you feel vulnerable,timid stripped of dignity,friends and somewhat lonely.
Do you feel you have no man on earth to come to your rescue?Fear not,Jesus calls and He will raise helpers of destiny for you.Listen to God:
- “For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” (Isaiah 41:13 KJV).
- “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4 KJV).
- “For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.” (1 Samuel 12:22 KJV).
Examples:The Lord showed His presence:
- Jacob: Felt lonely,stranded & distrust;God came through and blessed him (Gen.32:24-29).
- David: All his men abandoned him and planned to stone him but God gave him victory over the Amalekites (1 Samuel 30:8).
- Daniel: Set up by his own colleagues , sentenced to the Lions’ den,but the Sovereign Lord stopped the mouths of the Lions and delivered Daniel (Daniel 6:19-22).
- YOU: Have you been left in the cold and it seems you are all by yourself alone; never despair ,God is with you (Isaiah 41:10).
What to do:
- God,your Creator cares, call on Him for mercy.
- Let satan not have occasion to accuse you.
- Refuse to go into depression & despondency.
- Reject self-pity and engage in God’s Word.
- Rejoice in the Lord always, no matter what.
Prayer Points:In Jesus name:
- Father,You are my hiding place,please deliver me from all my fears and adversaries.
- Father,please surround me with songs of deliverance and victory on a daily basis.
- Father,I cry unto You,my God never forsake me and let Your presence not depart from me.
