“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27 ESV)
“And your ears shall hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” (Isaiah 30:21 ESV)
How many times have you asked someone that? Are you listening to me? How did it make you feel when they said no?
I usually got “Yeah, I’m listening. What did you say?”
Well think how God must feel. We need to be listening really closely for our Master’s voice.
I know, things happen. You get distracted and pretty soon the day is gone. And you didn’t even say “hi” to God. You might say, “Well, I will do better starting tomorrow. God won’t care.” You know, I get that a lot in my life. “It’s just Kathy. She won’t care.” I know how I feel when someone tells me that. It makes me feel like I’m not important. So I can imagine how God feels.
With today’s society, we need to pay close attention to God’s voice. He is calling. He wants to talk to us. He wants to give us direction for the day.

Pretty self explanatory. When God speaks confusion fades, fear leaves, freedom reigns and hope abounds.
So stop today and listen to what God is saying. It really is important.
