“In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4 NKJV)
“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” (Isaiah 30:21 NKJV)
Google defines crossroads as “an intersection of 2 or more roads.”
Another definition is, “a point at which a crucial decision must be made that will have far-reaching consequences.”
This is where a lot of people are right now. They are trying to decide which way to go. Satan has blinded a lot of people, making them unsure of what to do. No one can tell you what to do. You have to make up your own mind. Do I trade cars? Do I downsize my home and move? Do I quit my job?
Then there are the ‘what if’ questions. What if I lose my job and can’t afford car or house payments? Will I be able to find a new job?
The list is endless. Satan wants us indecisive. That way our focus is not where it should be.Satan has a lot of ways to blind a person. He uses addictions a lot. He gets you hooked and then you are focused on your next fix or drink or whatever you are addicted to.
But we have a way out. Jesus died on the cross to give us that way out. He died so we can live.
Crossroads can be very tricky. The smooth, clear road may not always be the right road. Wherever you are today, if you are at a crossroad. Be very careful which road you choose. One leads to eternal happiness and the other to eternal torture. Choose carefully. Don’t let satan put blinders on you. Keep your eyes on God and choose wisely.
Have a blessed day.
