Never alone

by | Jun 16, 2021 | Presence

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18 ESV)

“So we can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?'” (Hebrews 13:6 ESV)

I was listening to YouTube when the song, “Where No One Stands Alone” by The Gaither Vocal Band came on. Here is part of it:

“Hold my hand all the way, every hour, every day
From here to the great unknown
Take my hand, let me stand
Where no-one stands alone.”

I know I have used this song before but it has such a sweet, sweet meaning to it. I take it as meaning I can’t take a step without God holding my hand. With Him leading me and loving me all the way.

God is with us, all day, everyday, 24/7. It doesn’t matter what religion we may associate ourselves with or if you don’t even believe in God, He is with us. I don’t know about you, but I can’t do this life without Him. He is my rock. He is my Savior.

“My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand.”

This is part of a song by the Graham Family. I think it explains it all. Christ is the solid rock and everything else is sinking sand.

How would you like to be swallowed up by quicksand? I hear it’s nearly impossible to free yourself from. The more you struggle the deeper you go. But if you have God at your side, he will lead you around those areas. And if you stray and fall into one, call out for God. He will come pull you out. So are you walking in the light with God by your side? Or are you in a pit of quicksand, struggling to get out. If you are struggling, call on God. He will throw you a life line. He loves you more than you may know.

Have a blessed day.
