The moment of decision is now and this is a moment of decision. (Joel 3:14) “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.”
Whether you are presently sick or healthy, there is no doubt that you desire to be in good health everyday but this situation depends very much on you.
Health is wealth and our accomplishment depends very much on our health; that is the reason Saint John the apostle wrote (3 John 2) “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Therefore, you will concur with me that you cannot afford to gamble or play with your health. If you do, you may fritter away your life without even knowing it.
Are you healthy? Would you like to be healthy? Or do you consider your very body invincible in the face of the vicissitudes of this world? Has it ever occurred to you that your habits, your mental disposition and of course, your spiritual life can determine your health, longevity and your eternal destination?
Why then do you treat yourself and your environment carelessly? Why would you, on your own, prevent God’s plan for you from being a reality? Why would you, through wrong attitudes or inaction reduce your length of days here on this planet earth?
As an unbeliever, it behoves you at this juncture to consider the fate of your soul. If you die in sin, you will go straight to hell but that is not God’s choice for you. God wants you to live. God wants you to be healthy.
Today, go to Calvary, plead the blood of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. You will not only be forgiven, you will also receive your healing. (1 John 1:9) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” God will also bless you with good health and you will enjoy your life to the full, enjoying every moment of your existence of living.
Decide now, so that it may be well with you in times like this and in eternity. Remain blessed as you make the right decision to live and stay healthy in Christ Jesus our Lord! Amen!
