Supporting Scripture:
1.) Graft in the Word.
Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save YOUR souls.
Whoso looketh into the “perfect law” of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
(The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is “no law”. Galatians 5:22-23 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Hebrews 7:19)
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:19-21, 25, 27 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. Romans 11:16
2.) Graff in Yourself.
The branches were broken off, that YOU might be grafted in. Romans 11:19b
YOU are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; WE are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. Romans 9:4-5
Give thanks unto the Father, which hath made US meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered US from the power of darkness, and hath translated US into the kingdom of his dear Son. Colossians 1:12-13
Understanding How to Graff in Scripture
The Engrafted Word, is able to save YOUR souls.
Thus, it will always be a salvation message.
We were saved, we are being saved,
and we will be saved. – source unknown
Select a search word, then surrounding verses which
contain God’s message to those of the searched topic
matter. Then, read your total selection of verses
to see if it yet makes sense and reads smoothly,
and make your final selection of verses accordingly.
The branches were broken off,
that you might be grafted in.
Romans 11:19b
So, add YOUR name.
For personal study, your name goes
wherever God speaks to your heart.
For teaching purposes, apply the verses to yourself
also; whenever you see the name “Israel”.
You can even credit yourself, like replacing Paul’s name
with your name, for having made the verse selections.
Every man praying or prophesying,
having his head covered dishonoureth his head,
forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God. 1 Corinthians 11:4, 7
In the law it is written, With men of other tongues
and other lips will I speak unto this people. 1 Corinthians 14:21
He that cometh to God must believe
that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
