Password Instructions

by | Oct 18, 2014 | Jesus, Word of God

So you have your password. It has unique qualities and it has been installed in your mind for a lifetime of use.

It promises you a whole new lifestyle so you need to learn how you are to relate to your new status. You ask where, when, why and how do I use it? What instructions do I need to make it work?

Fortunately there are two textbooks and there are weekly classes. They teach you how to guard your password against fraud and they teach you how to minimise the risk of being exploited. If you consistently heed them, it is very difficult for anybody to defraud you and steal your password.

But password thieves are wily. Sometimes they even join the weekly class. Then they ridicule the textbooks, telling you they are obsolete and they are just a control mechanism. Finally they ridicule the password and tell you the idea of just one password is restrictive and there are many alternative passwords.

It is only by staying in the class that you learn how to recognise password thieves because the textbooks expose them completely.

You see, you were given your password from the very first words of the first volume of the second of two textbooks. It is ‘Jesus,’ under the heading of Matthew.

Now come back to first volume of the first textbook. It will teach you the foundations you need to keep your password safe. It is called Beginnings, or Genesis, and it tells you the where, the when, the why and the how of your password. It sets out the basics and illustrates why you need your password.

You will be in class this week, won’t you? Your very password himself – Jesus – went to class regularly and read the lesson, Luke 4:16. There is an invitation in Hebrews 10, so please don’t disappoint him. Verses 19 to 25 conclude with this: “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
