“Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by man.” (2 Corinthians 5:1 NIV)
The safety, security and stability of anything on earth is not guaranteed. There is so much uncertainty and instability on this side of eternity.
This is especially so in the current global economic meltdown which is “melting” the financial base making millions of people to lose their jobs.
It is not a question of being the wrong person for a job hence the lay-off or becoming the right person for a job in order to obtain it; jobs are simply not available.
However, God has not left us helpless. He has provided for our entire well-being in advance beyond all measure.
It does not matter if there are no more jobs on earth. If we lose our jobs, He shall provide a far better means of livelihood previously unknown to the human race. In His fathomless wisdom, He foreknew the worst that could ever happen to us and in his exhaustless Love, He pre-provided the best for us through the cross.
We are part of a kingdom that cannot be shaken!
Our evergreen life is simply an extension and manifestation of our eternal inheritance, “thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
God created the world out of nothing so He does not need anything corporeal as a proviso to fulfill His promise of meeting your need exceedingly without fail.
Banks may become cashless, leaders may remain clueless but as long as heaven is not bloodless with the eternal sacrifice, we shall never be helpless!
