Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
(Psalm 37:7 ESV)
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant.
(1 Corinthians 13:4 ESV)
There are a lot of contagious things. For example, colds, flu, bad attitude, just to name a few.
Do you know what else is highly contagious? Kindness, patience, love, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Don’t wait to catch it from others. Be a carrier.
I have learned over the many years I have been on this earth that if you are nice to someone, they will be nice to you. Let me ask you a question. How do treat others? Are you kind, do you treat them with respect? It doesn’t take a lot of energy to be nice. At least most of the time.
There are some people who no matter what you do, just aren’t happy. I get it. There are days that I just want to stay far away from people. Those are the days I need Jesus the most. I mean, I need Him every day. But when life overwhelms me and I just want to curl up into a ball and hide those times I desperately need Jesus. I know Jesus is always here. But when He feels like He is far away, dig deep and pray.
And on the days when you feel nothing will go wrong, spread kindness, patience, love, and enthusiasm everywhere you go. You never know who you meet might need a smile and a kind word.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
