“For we do not wrestle “against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places“
(Ephesians 6:12 ESV)
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
(John 10:10 ESV)
Have you ever had a day where nothing seemed to go right? That was my day yesterday. But I have learned to know the attacks of the devil. And when he attacks me this hard, I know God has something coming around the corner for me.
That is how the devil operates. He knows when God has a blessing coming to us. He also knows how to attack us where it hurts most! I can say it is usually financial with me, but yesterday it wasn’t. It was physical. I felt really good yesterday. It was chilly, but I got out on my scooter and went to town. All was good. I was able to get errands done and get home in one piece. But as soon as I stood up from the scooter, I must have twisted wrong and pulled a muscle in my lower back. It really hurt to walk just across the room.
I kept praising God so the devil tried again. This time, my blood sugar dropped to the point that I felt like I was going to pass out. I got that fixed and kept praising God. I waited to see what else the devil was going to try as I kept praising God. My back still hurt all evening. But I am still praising God.
God loves it when we praise Him. I love to praise Him. I know He has my back and will protect me no matter what. God will take care of us. He loves us so much and wants to see us prosper and grow in Him. He sends His angels to watch over us. They circle round us and protect us. They do God’s bidding in our lives.
So if the devil is after you, just keep praising and thank God for what He has coming for you. And laugh. The devil hates us to laugh and be happy.
Have a great day.
