Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.
(Philippians 2:4 ESV)
Do not neglect to do good, and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
(Hebrews 13:16 ESV)
I was watching a TV show yesterday, and the statement “I still got more to do” was said. That got me to thinking. I recently was a patient in the hospital. My blood pressure got extremely low. The thought crossed my mind that maybe it was my time to go home. Needless to say, I’m still here. Why am I still here? My blood pressure was getting really low.
I still have more to do. That is why I am still here.
What do I have to do? Only God can answer that. And He will at the right time.
Are you still breathing? Then you have more to do. What is it? Only God can answer that for you. Maybe you are called to help others. Maybe your neighbor needs help with lawn care or a ride to the store. There are lots of things that need to be done. Where can you help? Look around. Who is struggling and needs help? Maybe you are supposed to help them. Talk to God. Ask Him what you are supposed to be doing. Then get to work while there is still time.
Have a great day, everyone.
