Some people do not believe there is evil in the world. Let me tell you there is. Awhile back, I was going home from church. It was a dark and stormy October night. I know, a good start for a horror story. Well hang on, here it comes. As I said, it was a dark and stormy night. I was headed home from church so it was close to 10 p.m. I rounded a curve and my headlights caught a huge silhouette standing by the road. I know something was there because my headlights shown around the dark figure. I got an instant feeling of fear and dread. It was sudden and horrible. To say I was scared is an understatement.
I was just a baby Christian at the time. I didn’t know what to do so I called a friend from church. I told her what was going on. She took authority over it, commanded it to go, then talked to me until I calmed down and didn’t feel it anymore.
I have since learned that I have the authority to get rid of the demons. So do you. We need to use our authority and take control. I challenge you today to take authority over what’s troubling you. Tell it to go then stand your ground against it. Use your God given authority to tell the demons to go. They have no right in our lives. We are children of God. He wants us serving Him and not to be bothered by demons.
