“But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.” (Psalm 66:19 NKJ)
“The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.” (Proverbs 15:29 NKJ)
I was looking for something to write about and God dropped this into my spirit:
“Whisper a prayer in the morning,
Whisper a prayer at noon;
Whisper a prayer in the evening,
To keep your heart in tune.
God answers prayer in the morning,
God answers prayer at noon;
God answers prayer in the evening,
To keep your heart in tune.
Jesus may come in the morning,
Jesus may come at noon;
Jesus may come in the evening,
So keep your heart in tune.”
Some people think they need to be loud when they pray. But God hears the smallest cry.
I know the saying the squeeky wheel gets the grease. But sometimes a quiet whisper gets noticed quicker. When I was babysitting, you could scream your head off at them but stop and whisper, and they will strain to hear what you said. That’s how it is with God. He can scream and yell and we don’t notice. But let him whisper in our ear and we are straining to hear what He said.
The last verse is what concerns me the most. Are you ready? Jesus is coming. His return is just around the corner. He is making preparations now. Are you ready? I know I talk about this a lot, but I don’t want anyone left behind. Here is the sinners prayer. I hope you say it and mean it:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.”
God bless you all. Have a blessed day.
