1. Sorrow will be turned into joy: “So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.” (John 16:22 ESV) Don’t let anyone steal your joy. The devil sends his minions to do all they can to steal our joy. Stand your ground and protect your joy.
2. Worry will be turned into peace: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27 ESV) I have been going through some things but once I relaxed and turned to God He sent His peace to envelope me. Things are less stressful knowing God has it handled.
3. Pain will be turned into happiness: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4 ESV)
We all get hurt from time to time. My great-granddaughter told me something a while back that broke my heart. She didn’t know she did it because I never told her. But I don’t carry that hurt anymore. It tries to come back but I stand against it and it leaves.
We all have issues. How we respond to those issues defines us. If we react negatively that’s what we experience. But respond positively things are much brighter and happier. So remember to keep your joy and don’t let the devil win.
