I have learned in life that there is a role in your life for everyone you meet.
1. Some will test you.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12 ESV)
2. Some will use you.
“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8 ESV)
3. Some will love you.
“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8 ESV)
4. Some will teach you.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” (1 Peter 4:10 ESV)
But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it’s worth it.
To all the people who have come and gone, to the ones who have stayed and the ones yet to come into my life. I thank you all for making me the person I am today. I thank God most of all because He stuck with me through thick and thin, good and bad. Thank you, God.
Think about it for a while. Who has helped make you who you are? But don’t forget to thank God for sticking with you too.
Have a fabulous day, everyone.
