Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
(Psalm 55:22 ESV)
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
(1 Peter 5:7 ESV)
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
(Romans 12:19 ESV)
Jesus is coming soon. Are you ready? We sang a song yesterday at church called, “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” by Helen H. Lemmel:
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
Look full in his wonderful face.
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim.
In the light of his glory and grace.”Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus by Helen H. Lemmel
I have sung this little song for years. I didn’t realize it had verses. Here is the 1st verse:
“His word shall not fail you he promised.
Believe him and all will be well.
Then go to a world that is dying.
His perfect salvation to tell.”Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus by Helen H. Lemmel
I like this verse. Jesus never fails. He is right there beside you, catching you when you fall. Yes, He catches us. We fall. We are only human and we sometimes fall. But Jesus knows this and He is there to catch us.
Do you believe Jesus? My friends, it’s time to get out of our ruts. The same old same old routine. It’s time to do the work we are called to. The work of the Kingdom. We need to go out to where the unsaved are and tell them about Jesus. Tell them how much our Savior loves them. But don’t forget He loves you too. You are the apple of His eye.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
