“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
(Matthew 5:9 ESV)
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.“
(John 14:27 ESV)
The definition of peace according to Oxford Languages is “freedom from disturbance; tranquility.” I think we all need a little tranquility in our lives. We all need peace.
According to AI Overview, the word “peace appears in the Bible 429 times in 400 verses in the King James Version. The word “peaceable” appears eight times in the Bible. The first reference to the word “peace” is in Genesis 15:15, and the last is in Revelation 6:4.”
Have you ever experienced God’s peace? I have, multiple times. It’s like nothing I can describe. It just flowed over me, taking all my cares and worries with it. All was right with the world. God sends His peace to comfort us. He sends it to restore us and refresh us.
If you have never experienced God’s peace, ask Him for it. It will make you feel so calm.
I was having a heart issue a while back. It was skipping a lot of beats. God sent His peace to comfort me. It wasn’t long before I noticed that my heart had calmed down. God’s peace covers a multitude of issues or problems. If you have need of peace, just ask God. He will send it to you.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
