“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 ESV)
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 ESV)
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” (Psalm 56:3 ESV)
I have been having car issues. Fear tried to get in. Knowing what I know now, I know when fear is attacking.
When things go wrong, fear is waiting to worm its way in. We can fight against it.
There is a song called, “Fear Is a Liar” by Zach Williams:
“Fear, he is a liar
He will take your breath.
Stop you in your steps.
Fear he is a liar.
He will rob your rest.
Steal your happiness.
Cast your fear in the fire.
‘Cause fear he is a liar.” (Fear Is a Liar by Zack Williams)
Fear will lie to you. Fear will steal away your happiness. Once you let fear in, it doesn’t want to leave. Once that door is open, fear invites his friends. Anxiety and stress will tag along with fear. Insecurity will tag along, too.
I had to sit myself down and remind myself that fear doesn’t live here. Fear is not welcome in me. Once I recognized it, I took a stand and fear left.
You can do it too. You can make a stand, too. Tell fear to leave and take his friends with him.
So I encourage you today to cast your fear in the fire and live a fear free life. Give your problem to God and let Him take care of it for you.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
