“But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.

(Isaiah 59:2 ESV)

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

(Romans 3:23 ESV)

“All we, like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

(Isaiah 53:6 ESV)

Such a small word but such a big problem. We get so comfortable living in sin that most of the time we aren’t aware we are sinning. Little things creep in through some door we have accidentally opened and in creeps sin in one form or another.

There are all kinds of sin. Lying, stealing, killing, adultery. It starts small to see if we will recognize it. If we do and stand against it, it will leave. But if we don’t, it digs in deep and then throws the door open wide and invites in friends. Before we know it we are deep in sin. The only way out is to repent and stop what we are doing.

God wants us living free of sin. Oh, I know. We are all human and we sin. But that doesn’t mean we have to keep living there. We can walk away from the sin and start following God again.

Do you know there is a book in heaven about you? There is. God wrote out your life before you were born. He has things for you to do to further His kingdom. Are you doing His work? Or are you going to let the devil win? Choose wisely my friends. Time is short. Jesus is coming soon.

Have a great day.
