Dearly beloved and friends, there is no man on earth, who never had a bad past in one form or the other. Please never allow the devil and his agents to torment nor blackmail you about you past. God will do a new thing (See Isaiah 43:18-19).
Jesus sets free indeed and wipes away all stains and hurts. The past is dead, no matter how bitter and painful, a new and glorious day is dawning (See Romans 3:23; Romans 8:1).
We all make mistakes and we all need God’s divine intervention as we journey this narrow way that leads to heaven.One truth stands above all else:if the Son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed (See Matthew 7:14, John 8:36).
Examples:
- Mary Magdalene: Was well known on the Red Zone and even had seven-demons living inside of her; Jesus in her life gave her hope of glory and cleansed her totally (See Mark 16:9; Col 1:27).
- King David: Committed cold blooded murder and snatched Soldier Uriah’s wife: God wiped away his bad past and made him a man after His own Heart (See Acts 13:22).
- Gadarene Demoniac: Lunatic of the highest order was delivered and healed and became a follower and proclaimer of Jesus Christ. His past was completely dead (See Mark 5:17-20)
- YOU: Fear, blackmail and harassment are weapons of the devil to torment you, because of your past. Resist the devil and stand your ground in the love of Jesus (See James 4:7).
Prayer Points:In Jesus name:
- Father, thank You for setting me free from all machinations and intimidation of the devil and his agents.
- Father, give me boldness and courage to live a true life of freedom and joy in You.
- Father, I rise in Your power, never to fall again; let me serve You gloriously till the very end of my assigned journey and destiny. Amen.
