” But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.” (Luke 6:35 ESV)

“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12 ESV)

I read a story about an older man who cut in line in front of someone at a grocery store. That was a rude thing to do. But the man behind him never said anything. When the older man went to pull out his wallet, he pulled out a small notebook instead. He was embarrassed. The man behind him stepped up and paid for his groceries. After the man left the cashier asked why he did it after being cut in front of. The man replied he hoped someone would pay for his dad’s milk and cookies should he ever forget his wallet.

That was a kind thing to do. Now days it’s called pay it forward. I’ve done it before. I’ve paid for someone behind me in the drive-through several times. I think of the latest fad awhile back” WWJD = What would Jesus do? Those gel bracelets were everywhere. It made people stop and think before doing something stupid. Most people anyway.

What would Jesus do today? What would you do if Jesus was behind you in line? Would you pay for his things or just walk away? Well, look around. Jesus is right there. He is waiting for you to acknowledge Him. He wants you to step up and serve Him. There are a lot of hungry people out there. They are hungry for Jesus. Will you serve them? Will you step up and serve them the good word about salvation? Will you tell them Jesus loves them? He does, you know. He loves you too. He is calling right now. Will you answer that call? It’s not hard. Just say yes, Jesus. Here I am. Send me!

Have a blessed day.
