“Those who trust their own reasoning are fools, but those who walk in wisdom will be kept safe.” (Psalm 9:10 NKJV)
I saw this on Facebook last night. Yes, Facebook does occasionally have something good on it….
“What if your struggle is simply God’s way of saying, ‘I miss you?’ It’s time to slow down and go to the Father, and lay your burdens down at his feet. No more running from God. No more trying to please man. Just you and God together.”
What a thought. Do you think God wants our attention? Do you think He wants us to depend on Him for our needs? I think that’s exactly what God wants. He wants our undivided attention and for us to depend on him.
But what if? What if we didn’t trust God?
Do you know people you can’t trust? I do. Several in fact.
Do you think God wants me to trust these people?
I mean God will protect me if I do and then they do something crazy to hurt me, won’t he? Of course He will. But God gives us warnings on who to trust and not to trust. Most of the time we tend to ignore that little voice trying to keep us away because we want to trust people won’t hurt us. We shut it down and won’t listen to it trying to warn us. But God is nothing if not persistent. He will keep chipping away until he breaks through.
So whatever your are problems today. Sit down and have a heart to heart talk with God. I think you will feel a whole lot better.
