He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
(Micah 6:8 ESV)
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
(2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV)
God has been talking about walking with Him. He wants us to walk with Him. Not ahead of Him or behind Him but right beside Him. God has our back. He has our front and all sides. We don’t have to worry about Him ever leaving us because He won’t.
If you feel like God has left you, think again. He is right beside you. It’s you who have moved away. We need to clear our minds of the junk and focus on God and what He wants us to do. There is so much that we could be doing for God but we let the world come crashing in on us.
If we would just take 15 minutes each morning before we start the day and just spend it in the presence of God our day would be so much better. I have a morning routine. The very first thing I do is greet God. Before my feet hit the floor I have talked to God. My routine includes reading my Bible. I may not get as much read as I want before the kids get here, but at least I can say I spent some time in the Word.
How about you? How do you start your morning? I hope you spend at least a little of it in the presence of the King.
Have a blessed day.
