Where to From Here, Lord?

“But the meek will inherit the land, and enjoy great peace.” (Ps. 37:11)

One can never fathom the depth nor understand the greatness of God’s love unless we rollick in his presence and dive into his grace. When a flood rises up against God’s children, the Lord will raise up a standard. How certain are we of tomorrow. What if tomorrow never comes…….are we ready for eternity.

In all facets of doctrine and in all measures of Christianity, we sometimes do injustice to the character of Christ which conforms him to a natural sense of authority yet he rules with a Golden scepter extended to his children with love that we may cry out to the King, knowing he will say, “What is your request, my child?”

Immeasurably more is where God wants to lead us.  Into valleys of hope and mountains of victory.  Don’t be afraid of closed doors, yet look to the promises of the gatekeeper of your life and the door he opens for you.

If God will bring you to it, he will take you through it. The book of Psalms describes the attributes of Christ in the physical sense of long arms and ears that listen, eyes that run to and fro and a heart that yearns for us, His prized possessions, so in this token, we can always find refuge and endurance in His perfection and unlimited resources.

Reigned in splendor and robed in glory is the true majesty of Jesus. With the Lord. A thousand years is like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with us, not wanting anyone of us to perish. Bearing in mind always that the Lord’s patience means salvation. God knows your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. He will never let the feet of the righteous slip, though you fall, He will lift you up. Many of you may be at a point now of great uncertainty. Probably, you need to make decisions at work, home, ministry, family, finances, however endless the list is, take whatever you need to and place it in the hands of the Father and ask Him for His perfect wisdom to guide you through.

God is the author and finisher of your faith. The fullness of His power wants to flow abundantly in your situation as God works for the good of those who diligently seek Him and wait on Him.

Even if the territory you step into will cause you to be confused and afraid, count on the precious Word of God who promises you that “a thousand will fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand but it will not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked.” (Ps. 91:9)

When we cry out about the road being too narrow and the bumps being too painful, we must always be reassured that Jesus walked the same road and still the Son of God promises us that we will do greater things in His name. We are blessed when we learn to acclaim the Lord and walk in the light of His presence.

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s throne, love and faithfulness go before the Lord and He is assuring you that He will establish your line forever and make your throne firm through all generations. In this eternal promise of steadfastness for even our lineage, the door that lies ahead can only bring greater joy. Be patient and of good cheer, God is working behind the scenes for your good.

When Peter stepped out on the water, he did so at the Lord’s command because only Jesus can calm the storm. When we step out in faith, we have to hear God calling us first.

Jesus will provide the firm foundation. Hear the call, step out in faith and focus on Christ.

As Nissan will say, Life is a journey, enjoy the ride. I say let Jesus drive and enjoy the sights.

God Bless you
