“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

I had a friend come visit for a while yesterday. We had a chat about Bibles and God. I was thinking about his visit and our discussion. Then God asked me this question. “What am I to you?” Without hesitation, I said, “my Rock, my Savior, my Father.”
He asked, “Is that all?”
“No! You’re my provider, my healer, the only person who knows the real me and still loves me unconditionally regardless of what I have done in the past.”
What is God to you? Ask yourself that question and answer it truthfully. What has God done for you lately? Has He brought you through things that you saw no way out? Has He healed you of anything? Has He provided for you?
God is love. God is unconditional love. Not just for me but for everyone. I know I joke that I am God’s favorite, but I’m not. I am only 1 of His favorites. We are all His favorites. So ask yourself today: What is God to me? Think long and hard if you have to, but I don’t think you will have to.
