“Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
(Romans 10:9 ESV)
“Casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.”
(1 Peter 5:7 ESV)
I watched a movie the other day called I Believe. It was about atheist parents of a young boy. This boy was curious about God. Through the course of the movie, he found a church with a statue of God. Through this child, miracles happened. He didn’t touch the people but prayed for them.
I won’t go on in case you want to watch the movie. But it’s the kind of faith this young boy from an atheist family had. We all need that kind of faith. At the end of the movie, the pastor asked everyone to take out their phone and text “I believe” to whoever they wanted to. What powerful words those 2 words are. I believe.
What do you believe? Do you believe God can use a child to bring miracles to people? Why not? God can use anyone who is willing. Are you willing? Are you willing to do whatever God wants you to do? I am. I will do everything I can for God. I believe God will not ask me to do anything I am not physically able to do. But even if He does, He will make a way for me to do it.
There’s a saying, “God doesn’t call the equipped. He equips the called.” I think that’s how it goes. So if I am not equipped to do what God needs me to do, He will equip me. God, I’m willing. Use me.
That should be our motto. “God, I’m willing. Use me.”
Have a great day, everyone.
