“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?” (Numbers 23:19 ESV)
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9 ESV)
There’s a song called, “Perfectly Loved” by Rachael Lampa:
“You’re not a problem.
You’re not a mistake,
Don’t need fixing or solving.
In the arms of His grace.
You’re perfectly human.
Made from the dust.
You’ve got a heart, broken and scarred,
yet perfectly loved.”
(Perfectly Loved by Rachael Lampa)
Isn’t it nice to know we are not a problem or a mistake? We are not a problem to be solved. God made us in His image. We are perfectly made.
But do we always feel that way? Absolutely not. I have never felt perfect. I have always felt like I was a problem that needed solved. I have felt like I was in the way or not important enough to be considered. I felt invisible. I still do sometimes. But that’s not how God sees us. God sees us perfectly made. In His eyes we are not a problem. In His eyes, I am not invisible. I am important. I am somebody, I am a daughter of the Most High. And realistically, that’s all I need. God loves me even though I am a work in progress. God loves me.
What about you? Do you love God? Does He love you? How do you see God? How does He see you? Just a few questions to ponder on. Just a few things to consider. Think about it and then realize, you are made in the image of God. You are perfectly made. You are a child of the King.
Have a great day everyone.
