“For nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37 ESV)
Never give up and never give in is good advice. But I did just that last night. Life got to me, and I was exhausted. I’m too exhausted to drive to church. I’m too afraid to drive alone all the way home being this tired. We all get tired. We all get worn down. Life gets busy, and our body doesn’t want to rest.
There is a person in my life who never gets tired, He never gets so tired He can’t go on. That person is Jesus. Jesus carries on no matter what happens. He is always on the job, always watching out for us. Jesus loves us. There is no doubt about that.
But there is someone who doesn’t love us. He only wants chaos and confusion. That someone is the devil. He hates us. He doesn’t know how to love, and he hates to see us showing love to others.
Sometimes, I wonder, Jesus loves us all, but does He love the devil? I know the devil hates Jesus, but I also know there is no hate in Jesus. But does that mean Jesus loves the devil too but just maybe doesn’t like him? I’m rambling but it’s something to ponder on.
