“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.“(1 Corinthians 13:4-8 ESV)
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”(John 13:34-35 ESV)
Do you believe that love can change things? I do. A pleasant attitude can also change things. I have see people yelling at sales people because, in their mind, something wasn’t how they wanted it. Something wasn’t just right. That is no reason to make that person, who is just trying to support themselves, feel bad.
Do you know that if you yell at someone, that can ruin their attitude? That can cause a cascade effect that can affect everyone around.
I used to work in a factory. We packaged food. There was one line operator in particular that no one wanted to work with. She was not a nice person. She yelled at her line workers. Then there was another line operator that everyone wanted to work with. When something went wrong, she jumped right in and got it fixed, smiling the whole time. A pleasant attitude and a love towards others will take you so much farther than a sour attitude. I have been on both receiving ends and I prefer the good attitude.
No matter what is going on in your life, keep on smiling, keep loving others like Jesus. Jesus loves us all, no matter what, He loves us. So be like Jesus.
Have a great day.
