Not Quite Right

by | Jul 2, 2022 | Deliverance, Temptation

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

(Ephesians 6:12 ESV)

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

(John 10:10 ESV)

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”

(Luke 10:19 ESV)

Have you ever had a day where you didn’t feel bad but didn’t feel good either? Where everything just kind of set you off? Just not quite right. Well, that was me yesterday. I don’t know what was going on. Oh wait. Yes I do. I was under attack. I don’t know why I didn’t see it sooner. The devil came and I had let my guard down.

Let me lay it out for you. I started off with a headache, which I ignored. Then my chest started hurting, which I tried to ignore. Then I got cold but no fever. When I kept ignoring those, he sent a bad mood to bring me down. Ask my worker. She can vouch for that. If I had been alert and on guard, he would never had gotten as far as he did. I should have stood my ground. I should have prayed.

God has given us authority over demons. We need to use that authority and claim what is rightfully ours. So if you aren’t feeling quite right, take authority over it. Claim Psalms 91. Tell the devil he has no right to you because you are a born again child of the Most High God. Take back what has been stolen. “I went to the enemies camp and I took back what he stole from me.” (From “Enemies Camp by Brownsville Worship). Make him pay.

Have a blessed day everyone.
