I was on my way to a birthday luncheon yesterday when the song, Evidence of Your Goodness, sung by Josh Baldwin came on:
“I see the evidence of Your goodness.

I see Your promises in fulfillment.
All over my life, all over my life.”
I got to thinking about the song then about my life. I can see God’s fingerprints all over me and my life. From the earliest memory I have, I can see God working in my life. He has protected me and provided for me in so many ways. From giving me the desire of my heart to become an EMT to provision when I need a little extra help. God has been working it out for me.
And by provision, I don’t mean just finances. God has put the right people in my life when I needed them the most. Some are still in my life and some were here just for a season. The most amazing thing though is that God has tempered me, He has mellowed me. I have more patience as I get older. I can tolerate people better the older I get.
God will do the same thing for you too. If He does it for me, He will do it for you.
One question for you. Can you see how God has worked in your life? Look back on your life and I believe you will find God’s fingerprints all over you too. As you go through the rest of your life, watch for evidence of His goodness. I think you just might be surprised how much Je does for your benefit and how much He loves you.
