“Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for He is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! The Lord says don’t harden your hearts like Israel did at Meribah, as they did at Massah in the wilderness.” (Psalm 95:6-8. ESV)
“I cried out, ‘I am slipping!’ but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.” (Psalm 94:18-19. ESV)
Has your heart harden towards someone? Are you singing the “someone done you wrong” song? Could, just maybe, possibly, you be partly wrong too?
Someone says or does something and the devil will twist it until you are tied in knots.
But God has the way out. When you see no solution, turn it over to God. When co-workers are causing problems, kids acting crazy, or whatever. Turn to God. It doesn’t matter if you just talked to him or it’s been decades since you talked to him.
As it says in Matthew 7:7: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” (ESV) So whatever is going on in your life, knock on God’s door. He will always answer it. He is always home, waiting for us. Have a blessed day.
