Millions today profess to hate, abhor, shun and reject the devil because they know he’s their enemy. They say, “I do not worship Satan, I don’t obey him”, but alas! They are directly being controlled by this arch-enemy of the light. Beloved, if you discover that you are under the devil, don’t wait to think but flee for refuge. No one needs to be told that Satan the devil is wicked. Satan compels people to serve him and later he kills them. (John 10:10) “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”
He comes gently to you to do his evil business either in your room when you are alone, in your work place when you are signing the attendance register, on the street when you see a lady or man and begin to lust after him/her etc. Whichever method he uses he has his aim to capture you and get you to Hell. His chief method is deceit. He doesn’t want you to know that there is a dangerous pit at the end of the sinner’s life journey. Do not forget that Satan is more than 6000 years old; he is a lot older to man. He is wiser and more experienced than man, therefore do not care less about your soul.
The devil’s business in your life is to deceive you into a false hope of heaven. He makes you walk confidently on mats, spread over a deep dangerous pit and blinds your eyes to the fact that underneath lies a raging, angry and unquenchable lake of fire, burning with brimstone.
Are you a businessman, or employed in the private or public? Or are you a worker or employee somewhere? And you are totally given over to the progress of your office? You just want money, isn’t it? Listen! You have a soul that cannot die. When the soul departs from your body, then you become a dead person, but where does your soul go? (Heb 9:27) “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment…” All involved in stealing, lying, murder, abortion, fornication, adultery, idolatry, pride, wickedness, hatred, covetousness, envy, alcoholics, backbiting, gossiping (etc) will be judged.
To escape then will be utterly impossible. Do not think that your regular attendance of church services, confirmation, baptism, fasting, giving of alms, charity and offerings and perhaps buying some equipment for the church puts you on a safer ground because your righteousness outweighs your unrighteousness? This is equally a deceit. You are heading to hell without Christ Jesus. (John 14:6) “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” (Rev 21:27) “But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”
Beloved, do you not think about your soul and where you are heading? Stop now and think.
You are in the devil’s net, fast sliding into the horrible hell of a church pew of indecisiveness to follow the Lord’s instruction. Aren’t you shocked or startled? But do not forget that God loves you more than you do. That’s why He is revealing to you that your good, moral life and the very best that you can do never will please Him without Christ Jesus. The Holy Bible declares in Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” You might have stopped attending church services because you discovered that your pastor or priest is a hypocrite who drinks, smokes and commits sin with women secretly and in fact, he has illegal business being run for him. You find that your pastor or priest goes to pubs and has children born to him out of wedlock. So you have concluded that as long as you love God and love your neighbor as yourself (as the golden rule), you will surely make it to heaven.
You are feeling that you are better than your pastor or priest because you have not done any of his so called crimes. But sorry to remind you that you are still in the net of Satan and his hosts, because you are also bound in your sins.
Probably you have stopped going to church because you feel bored with church and Christians. Now you only believe in God, heaven and hell, but you are presently bound by the chains of alcohol, firmly gripped by the killing power of smoking and really wallowing in the mire of unfaithfulness and bitterness, you are in the net of Satan. You cannot but attend drinking parties, (1 Pet 4:3) “For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles – when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.” But your hope is “I will be saved some day”. Friend, your condition is critical and greatly to be pitied because that “some day” may not come and you are still in the devil’s net.
There is only one way of escape for you and this only way of escape from false and muddled beliefs into which the devil has successfully deceived you is JESUS CHRIST. (John 14:6)‘Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me’” (1 John 3:8) “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”
You must be born again (John 3:3). You must experience this. It does not mean baptism, confirmation or taking sacraments. It is a transformation, a sudden change of your life in Jesus. You become a new creature and old things pass away. (2 Cor 5:17) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”. This is the only way of escape from eternal damnation for everyone-accountants, doctors, scientists, businessmen or businesswomen, students, undergraduates, church enthusiasts, free thinkers or so called religious people.
Allow Jesus Christ to destroy all the works, deceit and sin of the devil in your life. He will wash you in His blood. The devil will take his hands off you and you will no more be under his dominion.
Run into the arms of Jesus NOW! It is not too late for you. Jesus loves you. Today is the day of deliverance. Confess your sins, forsake them, and ask for pardon for God is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse you from all sin. Believe now and thank Him in Jesus’ name, Amen!
Remember that you are loved and appreciated, Remain blessed and rapturable, Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
