Saved

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matt 28:19-20 NIV)

My granddaughter Shannon just turned nine years old. Last week she rode on her school bus when a classmate asked her about God. Shannon told her about God and Jesus. The other girl asked what do I need to be saved?

Shannon said to be saved just pray to God and tell him that Jesus is your Savior and that you are sorry for the bad things you have done then my family will take you to church. They prayed on the busy together.

Later when Shannon got home she told her mother, “Guess what so and so got saved today.” It made me think we as adults are shy about telling others, and are somewhat timid in our beliefs at times. Here I have a nine year old granddaughter who is lighting the way. Who knows how many lives she changed that day?
