“For there is hope of a tree, If it be cut down, that it will sprout again, And that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, And the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, And bring forth boughs like a plant.” (Job 14:7-9 KJV)
Dearly beloved and friends, refuse to give up at the slightest discouragement in any area of your life; dead and dry bones shall rise and live again, your withered and dead tree will sprout back to life indeed. Trust God for a comeback.
Why will God give you a comeback?
- You are His Ambassador and epistle to all.
- You are a chosen and peculiar generation.
- You are meant for the top in life.
- You are more than a conqueror in all battles.
Examples of great comebacks:
- “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,” (Luke 15:18 KJV).
The Prodigal son: He was really repentant of his errors and was accepted by his father who was eagerly awaiting his come back. - “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit.” (Psalm 51:12 KJV).
King David: He temporarily lost his throne and his peace of mind; due to his amorous affairs with Bathsheba; he cried for mercy and was later restored. - “Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.” (Daniel 4:37 KJV).
King Nebuchadnezzar: Self pride and blatant arrogance pitched him against God who created him. God restored his throne after seven seasons (See Daniel 4:36). - YOU: Stop hesitating, God is waiting for your comeback, don’t reject His repositioning.
Main Prayer Point: In Jesus mighty name, amen: Father, cast me not away from Thy presence; please restore to me the joy of salvation.
Run back to the Father. He is waiting!
