I have been sitting here listening to MercyMe. You know, the guy from the movie, “I Can Only Imagine.” It has been so peaceful and calm. Tranquil is how I would describe it. I have been listening to one song after another.
The one playing now said something about a guy who doesn’t know about God. What a shame. It’s sad that people these days don’t know about God. Then it said, “Here am I. Send me.”
That should be our battle cry. “Here am I. Send me!”
Are you ready to tell others about our loving father?
I am. You should be too. That is really what God wants us to do. Go to the nations and proclaim God’s love.
I know we can’t all go out to foreign countries to win souls. But we can talk to our neighbors. How about in stores while waiting to check out? Share your love of Jesus with someone beside you.
I ordered some Joy cards from JoyFM radio station. It’s just a little card. It says You Just Got Joy’d. I’ve actually used one. It was at McDonald’s. I paid for the car behind me and left the card with the cashier to give them with their receipt. I hope it brightened their morning at least a little. I know it did mine, and I was the one who paid for 2 meals.
So I want to encourage you today. Find someone who might need a little joy. Tell them Jesus loves them. You might just be the one who shows them the way to salvation.
