“Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.“
(Philippians 2:4 ESV)
“Remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you, your elders, and they will tell you.
(Deuteronomy 32:7 ESV)
“To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.
(Titus 3:2 ESV)
According to google, consideration is: “careful thought, typically over a period of time.”
A lot of people have no consideration of others. If you see someone in need, help them if possible. It will probably only cost you a little time. Everyone can afford a little time helping others. When you need help, does someone step and help? I really hope so.
Consideration isn’t just being kind to someone. It’s being considerate of other people’s needs. For example, if you drop something, pick it up. If you make a mess, clean it up. Don’t leave it for someone else.
What would have happened if Jesus didn’t consider the people who needed healed? What He just said, “Oh, so sorry. Not today. I’m not in the mood to heal you.” That would have not have been very considerate. We need to be more like Jesus. We need to be considerate of others. Help out when and where you can.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
