“..,For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8b KJV).
Dearly beloved and friends, our God is a God of purpose and He does things according to the counsel of His own good pleasure.He also wants us to find,run with and fulfill purpose of our individual existence (See Ephesians 1:5).
What exactly is your purpose on earth? It is never late to find out and still fit in the purpose. If your purpose is opposed to God’s, ask Him for a blue print (See Jeremiah 29:11). Jesus got focused; so must you (See Hebrews12:2).
Why do we need to discover & fulfill purpose?
- It helps to get focused and avoid distractions.
- It gives meaning to your real being.
- t helps you to live without necessarily competing with others,stay on your lane.
- It builds up integrity and diligence in you.
- It gives you inner peace and satisfaction.
Examples of people with purpose:
- Joseph: His purpose was to preserve lives of his people and many others (See Genesis 45:7).
- Moses: He was called to deliver God’s people from tyranny in Egypt and to lead them out (See Exodus 3:10).
- David: Called to praise and worship the Almighty God, our Creator: that earned him “A man after God’s heart” (See Acts 13:22).
- Apostle Paul: Called,and resiliently focused on being the Apostle to Gentiles (See Romans 11:13).
- YOU: God has called you to be a praise unto Him,in whatever field of human endeavors He has placed and positioned you (See Isaiah 43:21).
What to do to discover and fulfill purpose:
- Ask the One who created you.
- Go through His manual, the Bible for step by step methodology needed.
- Never be distracted no matter the cheers and boos around you.
- Maintain your lane, and focus on the goal.
- Please the Ultimate Rewarder not those applauding you on the route of destiny.
