“LORD, WHO shall dwell [temporarily] in Your tabernacle? Who shall dwell [permanently] on Your holy hill? He who walks and lives uprightly and blamelessly, who works rightness and justice and speaks and thinks the truth in his heart, He who does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor; In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he who honors those who fear the Lord (who revere and worship Him); who swears to his own hurt and does not change; [He who] does not put out his money for [a]interest [to one of his own people] and who will not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.” (Psalm 15)
Who may dwell with the Lord?
* The blameless
* The righteous
* Those who are honest
* Those who do no wrong to others
* Those who do not slur their fellowmen
* Those who despise vileness
* Those who fear the Lord.
* Those who do not charge interest to their own people
* Those who do not take bribes
* Those who are innocent.
I ask myself, can I dwell with the Lord? Do I qualify in all of these areas?
A deep sadness grows within as I realize, no, I could not dwell with the Lord, as I am not blameless, and I fail in many areas many times.
But than the Words of God give me His assurances. On my own I can never become good enough to dwell in his sight, but praise the Lord, He sees Jesus when He looks at His born again children. Then I want to shout, and praise Him and thank Him. Without Him none of us would ever reach heaven, but praise the Lord, we can look forward to dwelling in the land of the Lord if we know Him as our Savior.
