Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

(Romans 12:2 ESV)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

(2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV)

What does it mean to be transformed?

AI Overview: “Transformed” means to have undergone a complete and often dramatic change in form, appearance, character, or nature, essentially becoming something very different, like a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly or a rundown building becoming beautiful. It implies a significant alteration, converting something into a new state, whether physically, conceptually, or spiritually, with the new form being fundamentally different from the old.

Spiritual/Internal Change: A profound inner shift, often used in religious contexts (from the Greek metamorphoo), meaning to change from within, as in “Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

I was transformed when I started living for God. When I decided to give my life to God, things changed. I became happy and peaceful. Anger became a way of the past. Do I still get angry? Yes. But not at quickly or as hotly. God helped me overcome it. Do you need to be transformed? Have you given your life to God? Once you do, God will help you transform yourself into the person He wants you to be.

So give your life to God and be transformed.

Have a great day, everyone.
