For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
(Romans 1:20 ESV)
I saw this and it kind of spoke to me yesterday. “I asked God why He is always taking me through troubled waters?” He replied, “Because your enemies can’t swim.”
Interesting thought. Have you been going through things? Things keep going bad for you? The devil hates you. He hates me too. He hates everyone. He keeps sending things our way to try to distract us from our walk with God. He doesn’t want us happy either. But God already knows what we are and will be going through. He knows our way out too. He knew from the beginning of time what was going to happen. He built in an escape plan for us too.
So the next time you are going through a rough patch, remember that your enemies can’t swim. So go for the deep water. God is with you.
