“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
(Psalm 82:3-4 ESV)
“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”
(Matthew 18:6 ESV)
“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”
(Ephesians 5:11 ESV)
I have been hearing more and more about kids getting sick or hurt. Kids are talking about suicide or being gay. What is going on?
The devil is after the kids. I guess he figures the kids aren’t strong enough to resist him. We need to teach the kids about Jesus. We need to make sure they have the weapons needed to fight the devil.
At church yesterday, I happened to look up at the right time. A little girl was in her mom’s arms, raising her hands, praising God just like the adults were. That is a child being raised right. Good job, momma. Parents, guard your children. Teach them right from wrong at an early age. Bring them to church. So what if they get a little noisy. That’s why we have microphones. I can just turn the sound up a little.
I grew up in church. Some of my best times were spent in the basement of that church. Let your kids be immersed in the love God has for them. Let them learn early how much God loves them. Teach them the Bible stories. Teach them the easy little songs to sing. Teach your children about the love of our Heavenly Father.
God loves each of us but especially the little children. Don’t leave them at home when you come to church.
Have a fabulous day.
