Sometimes the Lord doesn’t restore to us the things we have lost for His sake. Rather, He gives us something better: Salvation!

We can ask forgiveness for sins as we commit them, but God will always forgive them, on the basis of Jesus’ perfect “sacrifice that atones for our sin”
Jesus’ ministry began and ended with temptation. He prevailed. He wouldn’t risk doing anything other than His God-given task!
