I saw this on Facebook yesterday. Good advice:
“The old farmer likes to give advice
Author unknown
That he thinks others oughta hear.
After plowing a field, he tenders this observation.
A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.
While drinking a cup of coffee, he leans forward to quietly say,
Words that soak into your ears are whispered… not yelled.
After backing a skunk into a corner in his shop, he remarks,
Never corner nothin’ you think might be meaner than you.
After coming out of church one Sunday, he suggests,
The best sermons are lived, and they ain’t preached.
At a family reunion, he is overheard saying
Don’t never judge folks by their relatives.
He tells a young person who is obviously troubled,
Most of the stuff you’re worried about ain’t never gonna happen.
To an aggravated woman, he says
You know, meanness don’t just happen overnight.
To a young girl running with the wrong crowd, he says, When you wallow with pigs, expect to get a little dirty.
To a distressed young man, he offers, When you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is to stop digging.”
All good advice, but the best I can give you is to get right with God before it’s too late. Jesus is coming back soon, and you really don’t want to be left behind. This world is bad now, but just wait until after Jesus comes back. It will get worse. Read Revelation for a description of things to come.
