Let Me See

by | Nov 10, 2023 | Perception, Relationship

“Then Elisha prayed and said, ‘O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.’ So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

(2 Kings 6:17 ESV)

“To open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.”

(Acts 26:18 ESV)

My greatest desire is to see and hear God more. I want my eyes to be open so that I can see what is around me. I can feel angels’ presence. They are all around. I want my eyes open to see them. Yes, I have seen angels but only through the Holy Spirit.

My prayer is to have my eyes open so that I can see the good around me but also the bad. The devil sends his demons to try to distract us. Jesus is with us, though. He is here to fight for us and clear the way for us. Jesus is with me right now. I can feel His presence and His wonderful peace as I write this.

We all have angels assigned to us. They are here to help us and protect us. I saw a sign once that said, “I can only drive as fast as my guardian angel can fly.” Good advice, slow down. We all have spiritual eyes and ears. There are times I think we need glasses and hearing aids though.

We tend to get dull. Then we can’t see or hear God when He is trying to talk to us. But we need to be sharp nowadays. The world has gone crazy and wants to take us with it. Don’t let it.  Sharpen yourself by praying, reading your Bible, and studying. God will honor your work and start to sharpen you. It’s time to let God work on us and sharpen us so we can see and hear what He is trying to tell us.

Have a great day, everyone.
